The track plays while Cry Baby, Martinez’s character in the K-12 film, is on a bus ride to “Sleepaway School.” Thematically, it dives into the way society turns a blind eye toward troubled teenagers, detailing Crybaby’s distaste with the tomfoolery happening on the bus; such as student’s having sexual relations, smoking weed, stripping their clothes, and the fact that it’s all being overlooked by the bus driver. There is also a dual meaning to some of the lyrics – they can be interpreted as having to do with the conflicts of society and how the people in power choose to deal with us a question about this songWhat happens in the K-12 Movie while this track plays?K-12, Melanie’s sophomore album, was released alongside an movie of the same name. “Wheels on the Bus” plays while Crybaby (Melanie) and Angelita are being driven to their new school, have the artists said about this song?Melanie explained in an interview with Beats 1: “Wheels on the Bus” feels definitely the most kindergarten to me, and it is the start, going on the bus, having that whole experience meeting people on the bus, getting bullied on the has the choreogapher said about this number?CreditsRelease DateSeptember 6, 2019Wheels on the Bus InterpolationsSongs That Interpolate Wheels on the BusTags

Cody's back with a fun twist on a classic nursery rhyme. We know the Wheels on the bus goes round and round, but do you know how the Wheels on a truck goes?
“The Wheels on the Bus” is an American folk song written by Verna Hills (1898–1990). The earliest known publishing of the lyrics is the December 1937 issue of American Childhood, originally called “The Bus”, with the lyrics being “The wheels of the bus”, with each verse ending in lines relevant to what the verse spoke of, as opposed to the current standard “all through the town” (or “all day long” in some versions). It is a popular children’s song in the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Canada, Sweden, Italy, and Denmark, and is often sung by children on bus trips to keep themselves amused. It has a repetitive rhythm, making the song easy for many people to sing, in a manner similar to the song “99 Bottles of Beer”. It is based on the traditional British song “Here We Go Round the Mulberry Bush”. The song is also sometimes sung to the tune of “Buffalo Gals”, as in the version done by Raffi.(wikipedia)
All through the town. (Roll hands over each other) The wipers on the bus go "Swish, swish, swish, Swish, swish, swish, swish, swish, swish". The wipers on the bus go "Swish, swish, swish". All through the town. (Put arms together in front of you and'swish' like windshield wipers) The door on the bus goes open and shut.
The wheels on the bus go round and round Round and round Round and round The kids on the bus are tightly bound All through the town The driver on the bus goes mad mad mad Mad mad mad Mad mad mad The knives on the bus go stab stab stab All through the town A tisket A tasket Cut out all that racket A tisket A tasket There's blood in Mary's basket A tisket A tasket A red and yellow casket A tisket A tasket... The blood on the bus goes drip drip drip Drip drip drip Drip drip drip The driver on the bus goes sip sip sip All through the town A tisket A tasket Cut out all that racket A tisket A tasket There's blood in Mary's basket A tisket A tasket A red and yellow casket A tisket A tasket... The wheels on the bus go round and round Round and round Round and round The kids on the bus were never found All through the town A tisket A tasket Cut out all that racket A tisket A tasket There's blood in Mary's basket A tisket A tasket A red and yellow casket A tisket A tasket...
